Britney Spears Still Can't Visit Sons

Pop star Britney Spears on Tuesday failed to regain the right to see her two children after a closed-door court hearing in the lengthy and bitter custody dispute with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Alan Parachini told reporters there had been no change in the orders handed out by the family judge who last month stripped Spears of her visiting rights to see Sean Preston, 2 and Jayden James, 1.
Celebrity web site TMZ.com said Federline wanted Spears to be able to see the boys under certain conditions, but lawyers for both sides apparently could not agree on the terms.
Spears, who lost primary custody in October, was barred from court-monitored visits after refusing to hand the boys back to Federline in January and being taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
Earlier this month she spent another six days in a psychiatric unit for what is thought to be bipolar disorder and her father Jamie Spears was given control of her personal and business affairs.
The American singer who was once one of the world's biggest pop stars has spiraled downwards since her divorce last year from Federline. A year ago she shaved her head and spent a brief stint in rehab but her behavior has grown more erratic in recent months, including wearing a bright pink wig and adopting a British accent.
She has also changed lawyers and managers frequently and on Tuesday, she formally replaced one lawyer in the custody case for yet another.

Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline ended Monday.
"They are divorced," the pop star's attorney, Laura Wasser, said after a Superior Court hearing. "Everything is finalized." Court Commissioner Scott Gordon signed orders for dissolution of marriage, an alimony agreement and child custody.
The alimony agreement will not be made public unless there is an enforcement issue, Wasser said. "Most of that tracks the prenup," the attorney said without elaborating. The child custody order was tentatively sealed pending an Aug. 14 hearing. Gordon said "the best interests of the children could be harmed" if the arrangement was not sealed. Spears, 25, and Federline have two sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston Federline and 10-month-old Jayden James Federline.

Britney Spears allegedly stormed off a plane minutes before take-off because it didn't have leather seats, causing a one hour delay to her flight from Los Angeles to Florida. A fellow passenger tells the News of the World:
"It was quite astonishing. The doors had been closed for about ten minutes, everyone was strapped in and the plane was about to taxi to the runway when Britney got up and said she had to get off. She just said 'I don't want to fly on this plane. It hasn't got leather seats.' I heard everything but most people were left wondering what was going on, so the captain was forced to make an apology to all the other passengers over the tannoy. It was quite a fiasco but she didn't seem to care about anything except getting off that plane. All the passengers were furious."
I have no idea if this story is true, but I'm going to assume it is because it sounds like something Britney Spears would do. Although brushing her teeth with the TV remote also sounds like something she would do. Hell, anything a person with an IQ under 6 would do sounds like something Britney Spears would do.

Britney Spears Out of rehab to shop

It's seems that being in a rehab is the "IN" thing now for pop stars
Troubled pop star Britney Spears left her rehab facility for the second time this week to pick up clothes she ordered from a posh Los Angeles boutique. Spears, 25, left the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu Thursday night accompanied by a driver and two bodyguards. Sources tell Us Weekly that Spears has spent a lot of her time in rehab shopping at the online website for trendy boutique Intuition.
A source at the store confirms, "She was emailing things that she saw on the site and wanted to buy." Intuition owner Jaye Hersh adds, "Britney is doing great. She's really happy. She loves the store. She wants to look better and knew that we would take care of her." The star went to an apartment in Culver City, California, where she met up with her cousin Alli, with whom she has been in close contact since seeking treatment. The pair emerged after 20 minutes and Spears returned to the car with a shopping bag from Intuition that appeared to be full of clothes. Spears, who has already left rehab facilities twice during treatment, made sure she was back at Promises by 9 pm.

Kevin Federline is standing by his former woman.
The would-be rapper paid a visit to his estranged wife in rehab on Saturday with the couple's two sons, 17-month-old Sean Preston and 5-month-old Jayden James in tow, People reports. (According to Us Weekly , it was Spears' mom, Lynne, who brought the kids.)
It was Federline's second visit to Promises since Spears reentered the treatment facility last Wednesday.
He previously visited Spears on Friday, bringing her cigarettes and photographs of their children, a source told E! News .
Spears checked into the Malibu facility for a second time last Wednesday, after checking in and back out earlier in the week.
In addition to her two admissions to Promises, Spears also briefly checked into Eric Clapton's Crossroads Center in Antigua earlier in the month.
However, the facility apparently didn't meet with Spears' approval, as the 25-year-old singer left less than 24 hours later and returned to L.A., where she treated herself to two new tattoos and the buzz cut heard 'round the world.
Shortly thereafter, Spears entered Promises for her first stint, which ended abruptly last Tuesday, after she blamed the center's staff for allowing paparazzi to photograph her on the grounds of the facility.
Both Federline and Spears' family were reportedly instrumental in convincing the troubled entertainer that returning to rehab was in her best interests.
Spears' father, Jamie, told Fox News last week that his daughter was "a very sick little girl" and that the family was "just trying to take care of her."
Meanwhile, after Spears checked out of Promises for the first time, Federline requested an emergency hearing in their custody dispute but made it clear he would drop the legal action if she returned to the facility.
Once Spears agreed to go back to Promises, Federline put off the hearing indefinitely, with the caveat that he would resume legal proceedings if she exited treatment prematurely again.
The ex-couple has reportedly agreed that Federline will care for their sons for the 30 to 45 days Spears is expected to remain in rehab.
Aside from visits from Federline and family members, Spears reportedly had a rehab run-in with Daniel Baldwin last week, Us Weekly reports.
The actor, who recently logged time in treatment himself after a pair of arrests, told the magazine Spears was "doing great" and that he gave her his phone number just in case she felt like keeping in touch.
"I told her if she needed anything or if she wanted me to bring anything to her where she's at, I'd be happy to come see her," Baldwin said Sunday at a pre-Oscar party.

One of the owners of the salon where the "Oops" singer shaved her head Friday exclusively tells E! News' Giuliana DePandi that Spears' shorn tresses were saved and may be sold for a good cause.
"She didn't want her hair. We have it here at the salon and we will probably auction it off for charity," said J.T. Tognozzi, who co-owns Esther's Hair Cutting Studio in Tarzana, California, with his wife, Esther.
Tognozzi didn't elaborate on a timetable for any auction or which charity might be the beneficiary of Spears' mane, but he did offer new details of the buzz cut heard 'round the world.
He says that Spears, accompanied by two bodyguards, knocked on the door to Esther's around 7 p.m. Friday. Spears had never been to the salon before, and the shop was closed for the night, but Tognozzi says that he immediately recognized the singer and let her in.
Spears said she wanted to get her head shaved. Tognozzi sat her down, looked her over and then suggested less drastic alternatives.
But Spears wasn't budging.
"She was on a mission," he said. "She had made up her mind that she was shaving her head before she came in."
According to Tognozzi, Spears said she was tired of her hair extensions and wanted to make like Sinead O'Connor . Then she asked Tognozzi if she could do the deed herself.
"She grabbed the shears and just started shaving her head," Tognozzi said. Asked if anyone tried to intervene, he responded, "No, she wasn't there with any friends. Just a couple of bodyguards who didn't try to stop her."
Once Spears put down the clippers, Tognozzi offered to finish the job and dust the hair off.
Spears topped off the image makeover later in the evening by stopping at a the Body and Soul tattoo parlor in nearby Sherman Oaks to be inked with a black, white and pink cross on her lower hip and red and pink lips on her wrist.
When word got out that Spears was in the house, police were called to control the crowd and help her bodyguards get her into her SUV. A hoodie covered her as she was ushered out.
Meanwhile, E! Online's Marc Malkin's reports that Spears spent Saturday afternoon poolside at the Mondrian hotel, wearing a short blonde wig.
Spears reportedly flew into L.A. from Miami early Friday, after an aborted attempt at rehab in the Caribbean.
While there has been no official word from Spears' camp on her recent antics, a source tells Malkin that Spears' mother is distraught over the singer's behavior and the family is "in major intervention mode. Her mom is constantly crying. Her family is freaking out."

When Britney Spears regrets her choice of outfit, she knows how to improvise. The singer, 25, who has been making the social rounds in New York City this month, arrived with a group of girlfriends at the downtown hot spot ONE on Sunday night wearing a micro-mini red dress.
"But she was complaining that she didn't like it and wanted to change," a source tells PEOPLE.
Lucky for her, Sunday nights at ONE feature go-go dancers clad in fishnets and bikinis. "So she called the dancers over to talk to them, she said, because she really liked those fishnet stockings," the source says.
The flattered dancers brought Spears downstairs to their dressing room to try on some of their outfits.
A few minutes later, "Britney came upstairs in a dancer bikini and a white busboy jacket. And that's what she walked out wearing."
Although Spears sipped champagne at the club, her evening was relatively mellow, says the source. "She just hung out with these two dancers all night and kind of befriended them. She was trying on all their outfits and left in a bikini and fishnets. That's it."
The New York Post' s Page Six also reported the story, and said reps for Spears did not return calls for comment.

Britney Spears has had accusations of her sex life aired this week by third party's where she was accused of being attracted to other women and enjoyed some wild times with other girls while she was married to Kevin Federline by rap mogul Omar 'Iceman' Sharif, who is a friend of Spears' estranged husband.
Britney denied that accusation through her representation. However, new charges emerged on Sunday and they come straight from former lover Isaac Cohen. Though Cohen was only with Britney for a short time, he is detailing Britney's life after Kevin Federline and describing Britney what sounds like a nympho.
Isaac, 25, says in an interview with News of the World: "She loves sex and is incredibly adventurous. She was totally happy when we were locked in each other's arms. But once the sex stopped Britney was like a little girl lost, unable to cope. "She would lie like a limp rag doll in my arms and say, ‘Why can't everyone leave me alone?' and, ‘What have I done to deserve this?'" Cohen added that he believes that she is not ready for any relationship and believes that she is still hung up on Fed-ex Kevin Federline.
"I adore Britney and in a different place at a different time we might have stood a chance," said Isaac. "It was far too soon for her to get involved in a relationship with anyone. "But she has coped with so much in her life I hope she does not give up now. She is too special for that."
Britney Spears Hits Manhattans Clubs; Finds New Man?

Britney Spears seems to be over her short-lived model boyfriend Isaac Cohen. The mother of two continued her club-hopping tour of Manhattan this week by indulging in a frenzy of drinking, dancing and making out, reports the New York Post.
According to the New York Post, Britney dined with friends at Rue 57 on Tuesday night before hitting the clubs. The group proceeded by heading to Marquee, where an onlooker heard her “demand all alcohol be kept far away from her.”
Meanwhile, sources stated, “she must have been drinking secretly in the bathroom because she was falling all over the place.”
Britney and the gang left Marquee in the early hours, arriving at their next club, Tenjure, at around 2.30am. Another club patron reported that she was dancing on banquettes and “drinking what looked like O.J. and vodka.... Britney was completely hammered.”
Amidst it all, Britney was seen smoking and dancing at the two clubs, where revelers “dared each other to tug on her thong,” claim numerous sources.
An insider told Page Six that one of the people who followed Britney from Marquee to Tenjune (described as “a scruffy-looking guy") was “hitting on her all night, but she wouldn't even look at him.”
“Then a model guy came to her table and she started making out with him.”
And things didn't end there. The Sun reported that after a 5 am bite to eat at McDonalds, Britney took the model guy back to her room at the Carlyle Hotel, where the two stayed for hours on end.

After filing for divorce from rapping husband Kevin Federline, rumors have placed Britney with at least two other men: music producer Johnathan "JR" Rotem and more recently, model/actor Isaac Cohen. Despite her various relationships, and despite the fact her divorce has yet to be finalized, sources claim to know exactly who Britney Spears is after: Justin Timberlake.
Timberlake, fresh off a highly-publicized break-up with actress Cameron Diaz, has been the object of Britney's affection for some time, according to a source that chatted it up with the National Enquirer. The source was quoted as revealing, "Britney would love to have Justin back. They still talk a lot and she's been telling friends for months about how good Justin was for her."
The New Zealand publication Stuff claims that Spears lost her virginity to Timberlake while the two were embroiled in their prior relationship, and that with her husband out of the picture, Spears is looking to rekindle their previous romance. The website goes as far as to claim that Britney Spears, who has two sons, Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline, is only dating boyfriend Isaac Cohen to make Justin Timberlake jealous.
The source went on to reveal, "Britney gets an ego boost by parading her piece of eye candy around! Male model and current arm candy for Britney Spears reportedly has always had an eye for the former pop princess. According to his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Sypal he even called the ex girlfriend 'Britney' because she resembles the pop princess.

The report comes from Us Weekly and details that Cohen was always hot for Brit. The report online gives this detail. Britney Spears and model Isaac Cohen have been dating for less than a month, but Cohen has had a schoolboy crush on the singer that goes back to his teen years.
“He thought she was hot,” Sypal, who dated Cohen on and off in 1999 and 2000 after meeting in summer school, tells Us. “He was into her music, too.”

Style-free and fashion deprived Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have tied for the top spot on the worst dressed list.
Spears and Hilton, who became clubbing pals toward the end of last year, were dubbed, "two peas in an overexposed pod," as Reuters quoted the list.
Britney Spears fashion choices made headlines when she was photographed stepping into Paris' car while wearing no panties, giving the paparazzi a photograph to remember.
Coming second on Mr. Blackwell's list of worst dressed celebrities was Camilla Parker-Bowles, wife of Britain's future king, Prince Charles. Blackwell dubbed Bowles the "Duchess of Dowdy" and a "royal wreck," citing her penchant for feathered hats.
Third place on the dubious list was Freaky Friday star Lindsay Lohan, who was called "tragically trapped in fashion's fast lane," by Mr. Blackwell. Fourth and fifth spots went to singers Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey, respectively. While Aguilera was deemed to be "all crass, no class", Mariah Carey received the less-than-flattering title of "queen of catastrophic kitsch."

Rumors that Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz have officially split are causing some to question whether the "Sexy Back" singer has plans to reunite with ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears. Spears and Timberlake dated for about 4 years until the two split over allegations of Britney cheating on Justin.
No doubt, Britney and Justin were Hollywood's biggest "it" couple at the time and since then no couple has even compared to the amount of press the two received when they were together. While Spears recently split from husband Kevin Federline, there's no better time for the two to rekindle their relationship.
The timing of Justin's alleged split with Cameron is leading some to believe that the singer wants to give Britney another go. Brit and Justin's split back in March of 2002 came as a shock to everyone. They always seemed happy with each other and were practically inseparable for the 4 years they dated. Is the fact that they both split from their long-term relationships within the course of a few months more than a coincidence? Nothing has been confirmed yet but rumors are generating quickly.

Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton got it all started by flashing photographers way before Britney Spears and while everyone tries to come up with a clever nickname for the flashers Star Magazine chimes with their report in this week's magazine and the girls have been given the new title of the anti-panty posse.
The three young Hollywood starlets have been absolutely chastised as irresponsible, and dubbed as sluts by Hollywood patriarch Bette Midler. Even feminist Camille Paglia piled on by saying Lindsay was in a 'downward spiral' and that Paris Hilton stole her moves from 'drag queens.'
She commented that Britney was given the 'kiss of death' by Madonna live on MTV in 2003.
The magazine has more fun at the gals' expense by saying that Britney has caught an STD from Lindsay and Paris noting that STD stands for Style-Transmitted Disease.
The weekly entertainment magazine jokes a bit about how Britney caught this style 'disease' of flashing commando for paparazzi from her two new 'pals,' and then notes it might be quite more serious for Britney than it is with Lindsay and Paris.
Though the item that starts out light-hearted it turns a bit more serious when it reminds everyone that Britney has kids and an impending divorce and possible custody battle for her two young sons while Paris and Lindsay do not.
So much for the whole STD joke it appears. "It shows someone who's more focused on going out than being a parent," L.A. based family law expert Steve Cron told the weekly entertainment magazine.
Can it hurt Britney if a custody battle is pushed by soon to be ex-husband Kevin Federline?

Britney Spears, Tops Yahoo's Most Popular Search, Again

U.S. pop star Britney Spears did it again, she came in as the most popular Yahoo search topic for the fifth time in six years, Britain 's Sky News reported. Despite the fact Britney Spears hasn't put out a new album this year.
Yahoo has announced that Britney Spears was the most searched topic or person in 2006, which means Spears has now sat atop the list for five out of the past six years. While Britney Spears has recently seen a surge in search engine traffic as photos of her flashing photographers have appeared online, Yahoo spokesperson Cathi Early has said Britney Spears had the #1 spot locked up before the risque photos appeared online. Perhaps unexpectedly, Early also announced the both males and females are equally searching for all things Britney Spears.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger came in as second on the Yahoo list, followed by former U.S. president Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary.
The most searched-for baby was Suri, daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise.
Suri Cruise beat out Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt as the top-search celebrity baby. Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline came third and fourth, with Kingston Rossdale, David Banda, Moses Martin, Grier Hammond Henchy, Barron William Trump and Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern rounding out the top ten
Yahoo has released their Top 10 searches in different categories as well. Britney topped the Top Ten Overall Searches as well as the Top Ten Celebrity Searches. The other competitors in the Overall Searches category were, in order, WWE, Shakira, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, American Idol, Beyonce Knowles, Chris Brown, Pamela Anderson and Lindsay Lohan. The WWE was a surprise to come in the second spot, though its popularity is increasing, and WWE star John Cena has enjoyed an increased profile since starring in his first movie, The Marine. Heather Moylan of Yahoo Buzz was quoted by Forbes as explaining, "We consistently see female celebrities in the top ten, but WWE at second shows there are lot of underground fans out there, one of their guilty pleasures."
Britney Spears Drunk and Driving!

Britney Spears is caught here leaving LA eatery Dan Tana's last night with drink in hand en route to her Porsche. Sean Preston and Jayden James have no mother to care for them because Britney is out every night drinking till she's wasted, and partying with Paris Hilton. Paris is such a positive influence (sarcasm). Even more irresponsible is the fact that Britney is very close to having the full Paris experience. What is that? A DUI. Britney Spears is OUT-OF-CONTROL. At this point, I recommend another visit from child welfare services. Kevin Federline should be asking to watch the children during this time, but Britney's lawyer is probably saying no because K-Fed is a bad boy. After seeing these pictures I don't either of them is a fit parent. There is no question anymore that Britney is white trash, and totally messed up. Now we know why Britney chose K-Fed. Birds of a feather flock together. So sad.
